“Open letter” addressed to Mr. Josip Sep Blater and Michael Platini, Presidents of FIFA and UEFA

To
Mr. Josip Sep Blater
President of FIFA
Mr. Michael Platini,
President of UEFA

Dear Sirs,
I refer to your in the name of the rating and image of sports journalism that your two families-FIFA and UEFA have been producing, cherishing, respecting and appreciating since many years ago, treating it through the events you have been organizing.
Based on my personal experience throughout the meetings with both of you, I’m aware that your two families and their leaders have always had correct relation with and respect toward sports journalists which may be proved by the archive of sports publication www.sportmagazinskok.com.mk  (Platini granted a short interview and with his autograph he greeted the readers of “SKOK” at our meeting in the company with Todor Kukubajski, art designer from Macedonia working in Hollywood, for one of the restaurants located at Beverly Hills during the World Championship in USA in 1994. Blater, on the other side, granted an exclusive interview at the main press-center “EXPO” in Paris during the World championship in France in 1998, which was his first interview with the sports journalists after his inauguration for President of FIFA, that “SKOK” has completely covered.

Based on my personal experience, I know that you have always appreciated the guild of journalists, i.e. respected the word either expressed or written by the journalists when it came to particular events which concerned the work of your two football Institutions.
In that direction, fully respecting your official stance toward the actual situation of the Macedonian soccer, more precisely the situation created by the Football Federation of Macedonia and its management, headed by its president Mr. Haralampie Hadziristeski, please let me approach you with this “Open letter” in the capacity of owner of the sports magazine “SKOK” being a specialized sport publication with longest life in comparison with any similar or different media treating the football issues.

Dear Mr. Josip Sep Blater and Mr. Michael Platini,

In the capacity of a sports journalist I absolutely agree with your attitudes regarding the resolution of the situation of our Football Federation set forth in your notification and published on your web site which reads: “Both football institutions (FIFA and UEFA-z.a.) suggest to the Macedonian football family to unite and resolve its problems through internal dialogue, instead through illegal activities”.
But, although you know, please, let me remind you on the old wisdom which says: “For love and quarrel two persons are needed”. In this concrete case, the one party is here. That party takes Mr. Darko Pancev. This is the same person that you believe that he belongs to the group of citizens performing illegal activities”. This is the same soccer player who you Mr. Platini found time for. You pledged your whole authority and past work, engaged all of your friends, and used your entire influence, our soccer player of 20-th century, to receive after 15-16 years “Golden spikes”, trophy that he earned by his goals playing soccer for one of the champions under the patronage of UEFA, in not so distant year 1991.

You, Mr. Platini visited Republic of Macedonia and as a great soccer player and human, important person and proved friend to our country, PERSONALLY handed the trophy “Golden spikes” to Darko Pancev. This has accidentally or not, happened in time when you Mr. Platini rightfully, thanks to your past work, authority, knowledge, skills and intelligence have been already nominated as a candidate for a president of UEFA.
Mr. Platini, don’t you believe that you have handed "Golden spikes” to “one of the citizens who perform illegal activities” for changes within the Football Federation of Macedonia? Are your sure that you have handed it to a great football champion, great goal-getter and human, person who’s equal by his qualities to you when it is about the Macedonian, French, European or World soccer? Or do you believe that you have handed it to a man of a character who honestly loved Macedonian soccer and wanted to bring it back its lost rating?

Dear Mr. Josip Sep Blater, Mr. Michael Platini,

In the capacity of sports journalist-having a “Freelance” status that I’ve been awarded during the last world football championship in Germany in 2006, thanks to the understanding and humanity of FIFA spokesman, Mr. Andreas Heren, I would honestly like to inform you that in addition to Darko Pancev there are other persons belonging to “the group of citizens performing illegal activities” as follows:

Masar Omeragic (soccer player with 300 matches played during the football championships in Macedonia, playing for the clubs such as Balkan Stokokomerc, Vardar, Sloga Jugomagnat…);
Emil Bozinovski-candidate for a new president of FFM (soccer judge of the highest rank bearing the sign of FIFA, tribute that you have awarded to him according to merit);
Vanco Kocev (soccer judge of highest rank bearing the sign of FIFA, that you have granted to him according to merit);
Koco Dimitrovski (soccer player who played the largest number of matches in the history of the most popular Macedonian soccer team Vardar);
Vasil Ringov (one of the best and most popular soccer player of Macedonia of all times, intellectual having completed university degree);
Jovce Dzipunov (soccer player of Vardar, generation who played in the Cup of European Champions, 1988).

There are many of them who claimed, with their opinion and vision for better future of Macedonian soccer, that belong to “the group of citizens performing illegal activities” for legal replacement of Mr. Hadziristeski.

There are about 60 delegates of the Assembly of the Soccer Federation of Macedonia out of the total number of 106 who consist the highest body which manages the Macedonian soccer, who stated in public that they were thinking in a democratic way, in a way “the group of citizens performing illegal activities”, so called by your, thinks.
In the capacity of freelance journalist and owner of sports publication “SKOK”, I honestly want to inform you that I was the first journalist who interviewed Mr. Haralampie Hadziristeski in the distant 1996, when he started his career as a soccer worker and sports official. I would like also to notify you that I have followed all of his successful and good undertakings in the capacity of a president of “Pobeda” (Prilep) as a member of the Management board and president of Soccer Federation of Macedonia. I have always supported and professionally informed on them during the throughout the last 11-12 years. I would like honestly to inform you that such good undertakings of the President Hadziristeski have been small in numbers during the past 2-3 years. Actually, this has resulted in and was incentive for actual situation of the Soccer Federation of Macedonia.

Dear Mr. Josip Sep Blater and Mr. Platini,

With reference to your last message sent to us which reads: “The both football bodies (FIFA and UEFA-z.a.) suggest to Macedonian soccer family to unite and resolve its problems through internal dialog instead through illegal activities”, I would like to ask you in the name of the tradition of Macedonian soccer which takes origin from 1919 in the name of guild of sports journalists of the Republic of Macedonia, to accept my “Open letter” containing information on the people comprising the Initiative board for change of Macedonian Soccer Government and how they are trying to do it. Therefore, according to your competences and power, please stay faithful to “the rules of game” in such cases that are referred to you, i.e. established by your two soccer families –FIFA and UEFA.

I would like to assure you that by adhering to your rules of game only, at least by support of any management board of any football federation in Europe and world, i.e. by identifying the persons who belong to “the group of citizens who act illegally”, the truth about the Football Federation of Macedonia will be revealed.
I believe that you will not resolve the situation by applying eventual sanctions to the Football Federation of Macedonia. In the contrary, I believe that you will prove that “the big fish always eats the small one” by undertaking such eventual step. Don’t you thing so?

Best regards,

Mijalce Durgutov,
